Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is an elected consultative body that advises the Pastor and Parish Staff on issues relating to the life of the parish community.  

The Pastoral Council meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 pm.

Meetings are open to any registered member of the parish.  If you would like to attend a meeting, it is suggested that you call the Parish Office (410-792-4070) to let the Council know that you will be attending and to be sure that there is indeed a meeting that month.

Pastoral Council Members for 2014/2015

Peggy Nolen - Chair

Peggy Nolen usually attends the 5pm Mass on Saturday. Currently, Peggy serves as the Chair of the Pastoral Council, a volunteer  helping with the Christmas Bazaar and a Substitute Lay Eucharist Minister.  Previously, Peggy participated as an instructor in the Religious Education GIFT program and in sacramental preparation classes.

Bob Bokulic - Vice Chair

Bob and his wife Laurie have been members of St. Francis parish since 1991.  He was previously the organizer of “Hospitality Sundays” and chair of the Community Formation committee.  Bob serves as a Eucharistic Minister and has been a member of the Pastoral Council since 2013. Bob attends 9:00 am mass.

Martie Nagle - Corresponding Secretary

Martie has been a member of St. Francis of Assisi for 22 years. She has taught religious education and confirmation classes.  She joined the Social Concerns committee and is still a member today. Most recently, Marite assists greatly with the Christmas Bazaar, specifically the Silent Auction and the Vendors/Crafters. She also helps with the St. Francis table at the annual Yard Sale. Martie has been an usher for many years and is a member of the Prayer Group for the Health Ministry. Martie attends the 5:00 pm mass on Saturday.

Christine Olarte White

Christine is a new member of St. Francis as of August 2013. Christine and her husband Matthew (a member of 14 years) were married at St. Francis in May of 2012. Christine joined the Council to voice the concerns of new members and become more involved in the community. Christine attends 11:00 am mass.

Ray Glennon

Ray Glennon and his wife Dawn have been a members of the parish since 2008.  He is active in the Confirmation program as a small group leader and as member of the retreat team.   Ray serves as a lector and Eucharistic minister and he is a group facilitator in the adult faith formation program. Ray attends 11:00 AM mass.
